Stereotypes

Perkins' 5 assumptions on the topic of stereotypes can be used in the Hotel Babylon the bbc show specifically the clip we have viewed.
Not all stereotypes are negative
positive stereotypes. Ibrahim was positively stereo typically fast because of his African/slave heritage  (until he fell over) this view isn't negative and it is also sadly true ,like most stereotypes, there is a glim of history in this stereotype of his ancestors being slaves where only the strong would survive, or the stereotype of Slavic people working hard ,in the kitchen, for-filling their positive stereotype of eastern European workers being dedicated workers.

the white middle aged man is negative stereotype by his views and appearance he appears grumpy and slightly racist as a stereotypical view in old white men this is controversial because its focused at the classic majority of white male who also may be the higher percentage of viewers.
Stereo types are always changing.
For example the woman in charge of a hotel 50 years ago this wouldn't be on TV or the African man at the end who is praying when Africa has not allays been a religious country showing that they are not fixed or unchaining.

Cognitive Dissonance
Leon Festinger says that we are seeking cognitive dissonance and thats why some shows popular for example if we have a view on a topic or thing and then we see this same view on TV we agree with it and are more likely to like it straight away. this could be associated with pleasures such as character identification, pleasures of recognition, familiarity, and transgressive pleasures with the similar humor as you for example in TV Drama Skins which is about modern teenagers and its target audience is teenagers because viewers can identify with the characters because they are written to have similar views as there audience, and views can watch the show and see charioters that may like be them or there friends or characters which has the same scene of humor as them so cognitive dissonance may be the reason for popularity for this show, because is a show successfully identifies and gets approval of a view they tend to enjoy watching the show, thus similarly if a show has different views eg political or environmental views this may annoy us and therefore dislike and not watch the show however a show like one of the popular soaps ,of which is despise because I disagree with the views and representation of the characters is also thuraly enjoyed by others because they must agree or identify with it , showing that shows can  be successful only by pleasing the target audiences it wishes to identify with.

Showing the character is realizing some thing or is now aware of the outside world this is shown by the zoom out when he notices the police men, he is seen to be unaware, his is smart and wherein business where  giving him a look of being wealthy,the policemen look clearly authoritative standing straight and close ,blocking, together in a slightly intimidating style.

The Asian lady is wearing dark colors which in our culture is very negative however in Asian cutler some time heroes are portrayed in black and the villains are in white, she is also using a phone this could reinforce the classic stereotype that Asians are good with technology.

This man is in charge of the immigration operation and is instantly disliked because he is a bureaucrat and the 'bad' guy who causes conflict in this scene, because he works for an organisation the is against illegal foreigners and seems to take pleasure in it he appears racist.

This group shot shows all the minority together showing unity the woman also faints this could show that women or this character is weak or it could be a serious point about diabetes ,the stereotype for that being fat people, and the serious health condition it is, this also adds more fear and tension building in this scene, making the viewer feel pity.

Any issues

Many issues followed the film such as  Daisy Ridley  wanting to quit because of criticisms on her acting and Harrison Ford who was injured twice during filming with the millenniumfalcon door land on him and his plane crash there where also problems with the film because of  the transfer from Lucas film to Disney. Along with the many criticism of the film mainly the comparisns to other films such as the first Starwars and Nausicaa.

Film Production Roles

Film Production

Development - This is simply the process of 'finding' a story. Ideas for films come from a variety of sources, they can range from novels, real life events to computer game adaptations. Once you've got an idea you'll need someone to write a pitch for you which you take to a film producer in an attempt to get some funding to make your film. Even at this very early stage you need a very clear idea of who you're aiming you film at so you can include elements that will appeal to them.

Pre-production - Once you've got funding you establish your budget and can begin to get a film crew together, you can storyboard the script. You also need break the script down into individual scenes and identify all the locations, props, cast members, costumes, special effects and visual effects needed.

Production - This is simply the process of 'making' the film. Provided you've done your job properly in the pre-production stage making the film should be straight forward. 'Film' is very expensive and difficult to store so an increasing number of film makers are using digital cameras to save money.

Post-production - During this stage you take all the 'film' you've shot and give it to a film editor. They will then begin putting it together. Special effects will be added, a soundtrack will be added, any missing dialogue will be re-recorded and added resulting in a 'rough cut'. This will be shown to the director and a test audience who will offer feedback. Often this causes scenes to be filmed and added or removed.

 In lower budget productions some rols are all done by ine person and many of the others involved take other roles or genuinlly help out aroud the set

Writer
Their job is important yet short after they have wrote a script or adapted it from other material or the producers idea they have finished their part in the film prosess, however it is comman for producers to not be happy with it and hire a differnt person or get them to rewright it, however they can allso be the director or producer.
Producer
Is in charge of making the film process happen, he has the job of hiring the Director and Writer to for fill their idea (not allways their own idea) but also procure anything the production needs to create the idea ,cameras, props, locations,(however he is told what type of camra or where to film it but he is in charge of the money) and most importantly coordinating the entire process. He may be the 'boss' of the film, with Director and Writer being hiered by jim, so they have final call every thing like editing or the script.
Casting Director
They are in charge of the set and work with the actors and other crew to sucseed in their job in the film prosess and portray theire view of how the scense should be made.
Director
They are in charge of most the decisions on the film, in pre-production the Director will choose actors and may change the script to suit their own personal view, They will storyboard and plan out most the scenes and choose the best location, colours, dress or pros and many other parts.If the Director has payed for the film themselves they  answer to no one, so they may employ a producer who is used by them. However some even produce the film by themselves if they are really rich or have their own studios.
Film Finance
Even if a producer is in charge of the set and money, they may still hold back on creative control and give more power to the Writer & Director. 
Camera Operator
not allways clear for example, if the Director comes from a photographers background they may t working every shot, or in even operating the camera themselves, other Directors may let the DOP be in charge of that, with them focusing more on the actors and working with them. 
Editor
Is the bridge between the writer and the audience and essentially create the film we see by assembling shots and piecing the scenes together
Production Designer
Are in charge of the visual concept and style the sets, props, locations, lighting, camera and costumes and help the audience identified and engage with the actors.

Marketing
they promote the film, by organising press tours,  trailers, posters, interviews, or posts on social media. some films take tis way to far such as

This my opinion since it is similar to my music taste and vaguely similar dress or views, however since the website is extremely stereotypical and I felt it was a terrible representation of youth because from there questionnaire i was perceive to be a chave ! 

Hardcores 
have a serious affinity with a screaming genre of punk and the straight edge scene – wearing their distinctive tribal tats and turn-up look with pride.

The Hardcore joined the Tribes in 2012 in a flurry of slam dancing, and Straight Edge ethics; with X’s drawn on their tattoo-adorned hands. Today the Hardcore remain (especially in the west), but their Hipster-esque look (skinnies, band Ts) means they have come under similar threat from Aspirant adoption.

Metallers

Metal Heads left the Tribes map in 2012 on the grounds they had grown out of the scene or been absorbed in to other Tribes, but in 2015 we find them going strong with a younger audience in cities like Birmingham.

The modern Metallers are all about head banging, band T-shirts and loud music (as ever!) but are distinctly different to their Hardcore cousins – today’s Metallers love a drink and are just as likely to have dance, Emo and pop punk alongside heavy metal on their playlists. More of an entry-level Tribe than metal stereotypes would suggest, the normalisation of tattoos and diversifying music tastes across UK Tribes mean Metallers are more common than you’d expect

Punks

Punks are back – with punk fashion all over the high street, punk and metal music in the Mainstream and Activists back on the map, the Punk/Metal/Hardcore sub-section of youth culture is more diverse and interconnected than ever before.

While Punk is one of the longest standing youth Tribes, today’s Punks are more of a sanitised subculture than the original icons – dominated by younger Tribes (plus a few stalwarts in their 20’s) taking on the music, politics and fashion cues of the scene

Chavs
Chavs may need no introduction – but their image is becoming increasingly co-opted as the Chav look inspires Leading Edge trends. 

meaning "a young lower-class person who displays brash and loutish behaviour and wears real or imitation designer clothes" from Wikipedia

I may enjoy cars and alcohol but I am not " council housed and violent " or whatever chav stands for this result is possibly offensive, by this result the test can not accurately pin you and will probably get it drastically wrong,  unless you exstreamly stereotypicall or really trying to hard to fit in that group.
Since your opinion of your self is the most regard thing you have, if you are who you want to be,

When it is questioned this can causes insecurity or annoyance, even the concept of a test to tell you who you are is flawed and paradoxical, since deeply the only person you show your true nature to is yourself.

Yet others views or opinions of you may be really important to you or influence your own opinion on yourself. But when some faceless organisation that try's to categories teen, and is probably created by an old disconnected entrepreneur, who's only concept of youth or youth culture is the news or from his ni-on abandoned daughter whom he never sees, is a wrong and strange concept to be put in a group based on culture, however in media or unknowingly most people castigator or stereotype people, in my opinion I genuinely don't care about a TV channels opinion about me, especially when they don't now you, Channel 4 your opinion mean nothing now matter how current you pose to be.

I don't believe I am similar to any popular celebrate, because I'm such a special snow flake.

However an influences from many abstract or popular thing can shape any one, or plays a key part. 
Such as music, I listen and enjoy may bands/groups yet I would say the sands I listen to the most is FIDLAR and Modern Basball, we may have simlar opinions but I don't dress like any of them, the only time some one has said I looked simlar to was Mike in AmericanUltra when my fried said "your shirt looks like that and you have the same hair" which on reflection it dose, but I don't style my life in that one film character or purly on the ideology that then two bands represent, in my opinion every tiny aspect influences your personality where you live what you watch what you listen to what your frieds are like, all the littel things you pick up change you even twins are rarely the same, so it is nearly impossible for some one to do or like 100% the same things so ni one would be the same or even slightly similar. 

The Road- scene

This scene in The Road shows the relationship between the two characters.

The lighting is high key to create an outdoor feel, yet the right half is less lit, drawing the eye, this could mean the direction the character are leaving, and that they will go off shot to the left, towards the light.

Light is coming from the left and above illuminating most of the frame and showing their facial expression and bringing the scene to life and personality to the gloomy back ground, the boy is staring at the can with enjoyment, whilst the man is looking at the boy this could be showing how the boy is more appreciative of physical items, and the man is just happy to see that the boy is happy, the man is very open in his body language is welcoming, the boy seems closed off with his body language but this appears to be unintentional because of his happy expression, or he is guarding the can.

This medium close up shot uses blocking to be able to see their faces and fit the actors both in the shot.

The costume used is not very colourful and this could represent the lack of joy and colour in the world the characters live in, their cloths are for survival and not fashion showing the harsh reality of their situation, the back drop appears broken and messy showing that chaos around them is normal in their new life.

Make-up is used along with hair styling to make them look less attractive and rugged to show that they have been struggling for a while, the dirt and water on the two character's show that they have been living in nature for a long time, and to us appear homeless or unclean.

RADKEY - Glor- ,stop frame has always interested me with its quirks, especially clay/Plasticine stop frame, this colourful and violent flash of adrenaline perfectly accompany the music.

Pearl Jam - Do the Evolution- ,great animation and concepts of a dystopian future, it also shows a view on the start of man.

Modern Baseball - Wedding Singer- ,can have many interpretations, in my opinion it shows that happiness is only a mental construct, and it only takes a push to enjoy yourself no matter if that push is real or imaginary.

Nirvana - Heart-Shaped Box- ,has a similar feel to David Bowie's Ashes To Ashes I like this kind of filter, I also like the surreal feeling in heart-shaped box, with the fantasy Forrest and singular cross on the colorful background.

Slipknot - The Negative One- ,I was torn between this and Duality, but I feel this fits better with the haunting feel of the song.

5 favourite living celebrates

Charles Dance, what an amazing voice and hip guy for his age, I could listen to him read anything for days, and has some hilarious roles eg in Ali g showing he seems to be up for anything compared to other older actors who have been in many films, he seems very grounded.

Marilyn Manson, is defiantly a personality, he has interesting ideas and ideology, his music isn't that bad, he got great fame as at the peak of his sinning careers as he was an easy target for media to pick on, yet this did bring him publicity, music asside he seems like a funny guy and has also had funny cameos in films and even played a Nazi in prison break.

Brian Blessed, yet another great voice, the man emits manliness and has done many great things, not exactly a great actor but he is a great personality and has even punched a polerbear,and I think he had the title as best swearer.


Kristen Stewart, such a great actor and works really well with Jesse Eisenberg there was a moment of disappointment when she didn't appear on men's health hottest 100 2015, she has also had many funny moments including dropping her MTV award.


Michael Cera seems to be on a different world, he probably isn't an actor but when he was asked on set he was probably to awkward to refuse, his quick reply's in interviews and films allays make me laugh, "Did you really see a future with this girl?"  "Like... with jet-packs?" .

Gummo a loosely made film about a town which has been hit by a tornado and left law less, no police and no school,it shows the simple and nihilistic lifestyles.

Donnie Darko, a Schizophrenic starts an alternate reality by not dying, but destiny catches up and he finally dose die, which resets time so he also dies in the original reality when he was supposed to, it's a complicated film yet very enjoyable.

Scott Pilgrim VS The World has to be one of my favorite films, it combines great garage band music (written by  beck) and a classic video game fight style in a  weird love story.


Terry Pratchett Hogfather, being a big fan of the disc world I inherently enjoyed the film, I also like what it represents, belief, that all humans need belief to survive and distract them from the real horror of life.


Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, also a big fan of Burton I like the whimsical animation and songs, yet it represent that some people are set in there ways and can only see thing in one way (Christmas has to be scary) .

I watch the last 2 every year on Christmas eve ,because I'm that sad.
